Coffee Appreciation Expedition to Kintamani
USD $54
We believe that a perfect coffee experience can simply be enjoying a delicious cup of coffee made with the highest quality coffee beans. However, we are convinced that this journey can be even better after understanding and being part of the whole coffee process.
We created this eco-friendly expedition so that you can learn about and taste the best coffee in Bali at the same time as you experience the beauty of the Kintamani region. We want you to stay well nourished so we will bring along a delightful breakfast and lunch from our Living Food Lab kitchen.
Our head barista, Dave, has 10 years of coffee experience, and passion shining through his friendly eyes. He leads each tour personally, and has unlimited enthusiasm for sharing everything he knows about coffee.
Come join us!
What we’ll do:
We will leave from Living Food Lab, Canggu Square, at 6am and/or from the Green School at 6:45am. Then we will head to our coffee farm in Desa Belantih in the Green School’s eco-friendly BioBus or via private car.
At the coffee farm, you’ll learn about the coffee bean process from start to finish and get a taste of our delicious fresh coffee.
As you walk around you will come up close with the farm cows, chickens and roosters, as well as the odd cat and dog, and all kinds of fruit growing wild in nature. Feast on the beautiful trees and flowers, and peep into the traditional homes of some of the workers. Sometimes you might even catch some cock-fighting.
Also, you will have the chance to plant a coffee tree, whose growth you can then monitor. Fancy giving it a name as well? Why not?
